Please tell us a bit about yourself, including what draws you to the Roundtable and what "hats" are you wearing here.
As a steward of the TRCC for the past 18 months, as well as the independent contractor who provides more services to it than any other--including the lead hosting role in this Roundtable, along with my colleague Jeff Aitken-- I am deeply intertwined (perhaps enmeshed is a better word!) in this work.

Through +The Conversation Collaborative, which I co-founded, I also work with a number of other change initiatives, as well as some more conventional organizations, offering both virtual and in-person group process design and hosting services, as well as strategic thinking on movement and community-building. I have made a "Complementary Offering" for virtual hosting services as part of +the "co-project garden."

I work as a facilitator and strategy coach and have a passion to bring in new forms of collective leadership that enable shared purpose, collaboration and creativity to emerge from fragmented organizations and sectors. In my work with New Directions Collaborative in New England (www.ndcollaborative.com) I've had the good fortune to work with a variety of network initiatives that bring together business, government, and the social sector to address complex challenges, such as transitioning to a clean energy economy and rebuilding regional food systems. Previous background was working in the corporate sector on environmental compliance/management systems & then co-founding & becoming ED of Sustainable Step New England, non-profit focused on educating organizations on sustainability principles & developing strategies for action.

I'm particularly interested in the Roundtable (in addition to wanting to collaborate on something with Ben!) in how we can weave together these initiatives and movements and create spaces for people to reflect, connect, innovate and gain strength from the solidarity and belonging of being part of a larger movement. Also, I really see the need for new approaches to philanthropy & would love to be part of experiments exploring that.

I'm also interested in how to cultivate the personal and spiritual capacities to work in these networked/collaborative ways and enjoy serving in a coaching/mentoring role with individual change leaders.

Hi there! I work with Transition US and am also a TRCC steward. I'm particularly excited about this work because of a series of interviews Ben Roberts, Ken White and I did which highlighted the need to shift the philanthropic paradigm in order to fully empower the new economy and community resilience movement. You can read more about that project here: http://www.resilience.org/resource-detail/2353188-weaving-the-community-resilience-and-new
