Vision

Dream of a fully immersive zero G experience where you can navigate from block to block, visualize in real time the global topography of the network validators, with sounds built on the variables of the chain. A completely abstract universe of geometric forms with electric colors.

Imagine being overloaded by a flow of blockchain data / information. But after a certain time  in immersion you start seeing non randomness emerge. Then your interest is piqued and you dive in further to explore.

Visualize transactions on the blockchain spatially. 

We envision being taken to a new world in which transactions, connections, and supporting meta data are surrounding the user who is flying through the data. It would start out small, and as you interact with a transaction node, more information appears and it spreads out further as more connected nodes in relation to actual transactions that originated from here.

Current Concept Design

Inspiration

  • looking for basic functionality like this, but designed more like molecules/sacred geometry
  • molecular stylized design
  • clouds of data which can be navigated
  • clouds expand with more data
  • this doesn’t show scaling, but I envision being able to ‘enter’ a cloud where everything else disappears and the data scales up around you to fly through
  • i like how this plays back the transactions over time, 
  • though for our purposes, starting the user at the current point in time would be more ideal (maybe history as a future enhancement)
  • the automatic spacing of satellite nodes into circles, keeping some distance between them
  • spheres instead of circles for our purposes

Needs

  • how does a user interact with a block

Audio

  • futuristic synth sounds
  • harmonic vibrational tones at particular hertz relational to the data
  • higher beat/hertz when higher transactions per block?

Middleware (nodejs) @stanislav

  • #nodejs: will need some middleware data support for this (not yet clear what sort of endpoints or how many)
  • get initial blockchain root (block/1)
  • generic function that takes a particular block and gets directly related hashes
  • retrieve meta data for a given block
  • block number
