Below is a link to a folder that includes historical USPC classifications for all patents granted from January 1976 through May 2015(USPTO moved to CPC system on January 1, 2013). This folder includes nine different zip files. Files“uspc_mainclass_title.csv.zip” and“uspc_sub_class_title.csv.zip” contain titles for USPC main classes and subclasses. For ease of download and ease of importing, files are divided by patent number. File“uspc_hist_non_utility.csv.zip” includes all non-utility patents. File“uspc_hist_5m.csv.zip” includes all patents issued beginning January 1976 through patent number 5,000,000. File“uspc_hist_6m.csv.zip” includes all patents between patent number 5,000,001 and patent number 6,000,000. Etc, etc.
