COVID-19 Health and Safety Framework
(This document is meant to provide a framework for decision-making and communicating to employees in regards to COVID-19. Please follow CDC and global authorities as your primary resource for decisions on this situation. This doc is meant to be helpful, but is not officially verified and should be used at your discretion.)

The goal of this framework is to provide our employees with a clear understanding of the decisions our internal Committee is making based on CDC and local official input, with the mindset of minimizing disruption to our business and maintaining a proactive approach to the health and safety of our team.

Framework:

Committee Determinations of current office levels:
  • City 1 - Level 1
  • City 2 - Level 2
  • City 3 -  Level 2
  • Remote employees: Level 3

Category
Level 1 - low (no immediate concern in the initial or surrounding office location)
Level 2 - mid-low (potential for concern in that office location based on cases in surrounding areas)
Level 3 - mid (surrounding areas and some cases developing near the office location/city based on cases in that area)
Level 4 - high (un-contained outbreak in the office location/city based on widespread outbreak initial area)

Additional Guidelines:

What does “essential” mean?
Essential is defined for this purpose to mean absolutely necessary for the success of an individual, the team, or a customer. You should ask yourself:
  • What is the goal of the visit?
  • Can it be solved virtually or by a team-member already or nearby the location?
  • What is the impact of not attending that office or customer?
  • High-impact means:
  • An employee or team will be blocked on their work
  • An employee or team will be at-risk from an engagement standpoint
  • Performance of the business will greatly suffer
  • If the answer is that it is essential and high-impact please talk to your manager and HR
