Round Three Question:
What haven't you learned --and what haven't we learned-- that you are really hungry to explore?

Collaborative Notes

Jarod:  I would love to share a brief overview of what the DandDTrans is going and where it might be going and it might link with other groups.  Where did this conference come from and draw from.  Had a busy month and wish I had been able to make more sense of some of this.

Linda: Started at NCDD conference in oct 14. What would happen if the field of DandD took itself more seriously out in the world. Where are some of the complex issues being talked about? Very rich list serve conversation. Jumped in! Experiment.
How can we work with the material to create more meaning, list nuggets, how to help people connect with each other through shared inquiry, and maybe even projects.

(Laurie Baker) What kind of action groups might we form that we could take this further.  We are more powerful in smaller groups, what can we grow together?  No ideas yet what she might want to do...something that has grabbed her interest, is the tiny home movement.  This would have an impact ecologically.  People builds their own homes...they are getting mortgage free..their life is more experiential, no debt, because of the internet they can work out of their home.  Reducing their gas use, becoming self-proficient again.   Coming from a large house, now in a townhouse, I have educated my own children.  Oriented not to turn over my personal power to others such as to the government.  Likes the way people are building their own heating/cooling systems, etc.  As a group, I could see this sprouting up.  People are hungry for this...wanting workshops on this.  College students are doing this who can't even pay off their loans.   In bay area the rents are going up 1000%.  People are being forced to do something drastic.  People are going to have to move further and further out.  The tiny home movement would allow them to stay in an urban area.  I'm passionate about this.

Savannah:  There is a movement in the SouthEast:  Communities of the Future...Rick Smyre (founder)  They went into a number of towns and have citizens from D & D that help the cities work on issues to bring more cohesive.

What we haven't learned how to come to the next level about how to take action.  I'm in a transition group that will work together on developing a foundational framework:  every sector of society:  health, spiritual, educational, governmental...shift network there is a workshop/seminar on social networks...on room 13 from last week...a great link to get people interested in this.  Lots of alternative media out there that goes beyond corporate media...will help to get the word out.  How do we continue to go forward and continue talking to develop this?  How do we step beyond the disparity so we can come together?

I have a hard stop and don't want to interrupt but would like to express my gratitude! Many thanks to you all and looking forward to the next time our paths cross. ;-)

The journey on the path is more important is more important than what we are to do.  Always good to travel while we're doing it.  I like being confused because then you question.

Always the tension between staying in the questions vs. having everything all tied up...It is part of modern society of how we have been conditioned in the patriarchal system.  We just go along with what is happening and we don't question.  We want complete closure.

(Laurie)  Also trained in traditional education...but took on home-educating her children because of the patriarchal system.
