Tutorial 5) Telescope assembling — ALPIDE testing setup

USBs:

  • Two USBs cable carry the signals collected from the two USB boards to the PC (be careful since some of the USB ports are not working).

Other settings: 
  • FUSE LINKING:
  • REF DAQ → REF VBB
  • REF VBB → REF DAQ
  • FUSE LINKING:
  • PMT 1 → PMT 2 
  • PMT 2 → PMT 1
  • FUSE DELAY for all channel 100ms (gives 100ms to settle before testing if it is above the limit)
  • OVER VOLTAGE PROTECTION: 
  • REF DAQ works at 5V, so we set to 5.5 V (make sure that it does not get exposed to over tension)
