​​New tools

​​Print Production Tools > Unlock all objects in current document

​​Simply a quick way to unlock all objects and layers in a click

​​Image tools > Label Image links

​​A non-printing layer containing labels with the name of each image link is added to a chosen spread or entire document. Running this before creating a Translation file set will preserve the labels in the transaction files.

​​Image Tools > Simple Images Descriptions (SIDD)

​​SIDD connects people, documents and images to a lightweight but powerful and centralized source for image descriptions. Button will go to the SIDD for this document or take users to more info.

​​Accessibility Tools > Reading Order tools

​​Updated tools to add and edit the reading order for digital accessibility

​​New commands

​​Run Menu > Run one GreenLight check

​​Quickly run a single check on the active document (Command-R).

​​Set-Up Menu > Add / Remove Check Exceptions

​​Exceptions have been removed from most individual checks and tools panels and centralised in a new command. Check, add and remove exceptions in one place.

​​Images are 250ppi (specific exceptions allowed) & Images are 300ppi (specific exceptions allowed) improved to show a count of excepted images in the GreenLight report with more a dialog and text report is shown when asking for more info on the check

​​New features

​​CC Library updated

​​Set-Up menu > Add [publisher] logos and assets connects to Adobe CC Library with publisher imprint logos. Publisher is a shared admin of this library which can be kept up to date and be used when creating covers.

​​Make / Alter Cover

  • ​​Standard sizes can be chosen or custom sizes entered
  • ​​Added choice of Landscape or Portrait for all standard sizes
  • ​​Changes to new cover creation:
  • ​​Introduction of a Hinge value for case files
  • ​​Case files now have a Wrap value for case files
  • ​​Wrap is added as a slug rather than bleed
  • ​​Bleed is still applied and is outside of the slug area for wrapped cases
  • ​​Cover Art is now explicitly calculated
  • ​​Cover Art Width = {TPS Width mm} + {Outer Overhang} + {Spine Overhang} - {Hinge mm}
  • ​​Cover Art Height = {TPS Height mm} + {Top Overhang} + {Bottom Overhang}
  • ​​Amounts for Wrap, Hinge and Bleed are auto applied but then shown to user as editable fields when choosing to alter a cover document
  • ​​The ISBN is converted into a barcode and placed into the file
  • ​​When altering a cover now have same options as with new covers including
  • ​​Can alter entire cover page sizes along with spine width
  • ​​Can alter the ISBN which updates the barcode
  • ​​GreenLight Book Cover Panel added to pasteboard to show all applied options. Update to document are read in from and written back into the GreenLight Book Cover Panel
  • ​​Quarter Binding added as a cover type when making creating a new cover. Covers and spine are left separated so artwork can overlap.
