The Kids and Grands Program
The Kids and Grands program is the newest initiative of The Giving Square, an organization working to activate the philanthropic capacity and power of children. This program taps into the unique role that grandparents/friends play in developing and influencing the philanthropic identity and capacity of children.

Over four sessions, kids and grandparents explore their shared philanthropic values, needs in our community, and the unique ways generations can work together to make a difference. This program is offered virtually and connects kids and their grandparents across distance and in spite of social isolation.

The program is based on The Giving Square's methodology, an empathy-based, participatory approach to philanthropy and civic engagement. We emphasize the power of perspective-taking, the ability for everyone to be a philanthropist, and the various ways one can give of oneself for the good of humanity. Learn more about The Giving Square
