What a crazy 2020 it has been. Corona virus, murder hornets, Tiger King becoming so popular(how did that happen?), riots and protests, and now fires. I have been missing the in person interactions. Zoom has worked to keep us connected, but it's just not the same.
On Saturday, June 6th, it was great to get together with many of you as we grabbed lunch from the Spirit and had lunch in my hangar. There was plenty of room to allow for us to keep our distance. Getting together made me realize how much I have missed seeing all of you in person, which is why I'm trying to figure out what we want to do for our July meeting. We always have the ability of doing a Zoom call, but I'm looking into a few options to be able to come together and meet as a group, but in a safe manner. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the meeting.
If you follow my business on Facebook, than you may have already seen this, but I think it's so cool that I want to share with you: In this picture[at the top of this page], my grandpa is the one on the very left, and the fourth from the left,(or third from the right) is Steve Wittman(more info here). You may have heard of him: Wittman was manager of the Oshkosh, Wisconsin airport from 1931 to 1969, which is now named after him(Wittman Regional Airport). Wittman became involved in the Experimental Aircraft Association in 1953 and was instrumental in bringing the EAA's annual fly-in to the Oshkosh Airport in 1970. Steve Wittman was one of my Grandpa's instructors, and recently my family gave me my grandpas logbook starting in 1942, which Steve Wittman was the one to sign my Grandpa's log-book for his flight test. How cool is that????

2020 99s Familiarization Zoom Meeting for Annual Meeting
This education session is created to familiarize attendees and delegates with using the online platforms to attend and participate in the 2020 Annual Meeting of The Ninety-Nines.
It all started with Groupon. Three years ago I wanted to do something different. As I scrolled through the Groupon ads, a discovery flight out of Van Nuys Airport caught my attention. I signed up and went on my first flight. It was fun, and I didn’t get sick! One year later I am flying to Mexico in a Cessna 174 on a medical mission. I was hooked. Now I wanted to learn to fly.
