​​Shine Talks Speaker Guide

​​Format

• ​​10 minutes - Talk about anything you find interesting!

• ​​Slides are great! Please make sure they are 16:9

• ​​There will be cards to let you know how much time is left

• ​​3 questions at the end as we transition speakers

​​

​​Recording

• ​​We’re going to try to do a video recording of each talk

• ​​I’ll send it to you after!

• ​​If you approve, it will be posted to our Youtube channel

​​

​​Publicity

• ​​Spotlight posts on Twitter about each speaker

• ​​Reaching out to different groups to get them to attend

• ​​It would be great if you could also share with friends! ​😉​

​​Tech Stuff

• ​​There will usually be a mic, type may vary depending on the location

• ​​We’ll have a slide switcher/lazor thing

• ​​Bring your slides on you computer! — we’ll ask you to send them over a few days in advance just to make sure we have a backup

• ​​We will try to have an adapter, but make sure you have what you need to get from your computer — hdmi
