  1. Sign up for a Github Account
  1. Download Github Desktop

Cloning the Framer Education repository

All of the Framer Education example projects live in a “repository”, or a special folder that keeps track of changes to any of its files. You’ll want to download (or “clone”) a copy of this repository to your computer.

  1. Click the Open in Desktop button.
  1. In Github Desktop, select Clone.

Viewing the Examples

Cloning a repository downloads all of its files to your computer. They’ll live in the folder specified in the previous step, likely the Github folder in your user folder.

  1. To view the folder, click the Show in Finder button or select Repository > Show in Finder from the Menu. (If you’re feeling jazzy, you can also press Command + Shift + F.)
  1. You’ll find all of the example projects the Projects folder.
