Forms of Nature
A collection of stunning images of flora and fauna by German illustrator Ernst Haeckel, from his book; Artforms of Nature, (Kunstformen der Natur). These stunning lithographs dating from 1904s were influential on the Art Nouveau movement. Link

NOAA is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is the United States agency that focuses on the conditions of the oceans, major waterways, and the atmosphere. The collection includes thousands of weather and space images,  coastal seas,  ships, marine species with images ranging from whales to the most minute plankton. All images in the Public Domain. The Science Museum Group 

The UK National Railway Museum is part of the Science Museum Group and has a superb collection of over 600 UK Travel Posters giving an insight in to life during the golden age of travel. These works, including many by well-known artists, offer a fascinating record of railway style and graphic design.
