Natural History Museum. The museum’s Data Portal allows you to explore and download images and data including images from the museum’s 4.7 million records under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence. Entomology features butterfly and beetle specimens and other categories include Zoo-ology, Palaeontology, Mineralogy and Botany.

NOAA Photo library includes thousands of weather and space images,  shores and coastal seas, and thousands of marine species images ranging from whales to the most minute plankton. All images in the Public Domain.
