Round Two Question:
  • Imagine collaborating on some thrilling initiative that is making the difference we most need...
  • What is that project and who is involved?
  • (If you have time) Explore why you chose this particular vision and how it relates to the visions of others in your group.

Collaborative Notes
Gerald: in CT involving people in rehabs and shelters are that recyle materials to sell in non-profit arena
Stephanie-in search-possibly a strategic converation  between permaculture and social justice networks which are racially differentiated, 22nd Century community that survives, a place for 2-300 diverse people. In CT. Actually, I'm aiming for western Massachusetts!  No worries @Laura Chasin! Steph 1/6

Sorry I got lost. Please in the blanks.

Sorry I have gotten lost. I cannot see you and have not been tracking the conversation well enough to take notes.
I am don't know how to tell you I am here or to enter the conversation.

Laura Chasin: Project to connect congressional districts into hotbeds of civic energy and increasing accountability as representatives.
Congress folks get little non-extremist contact with reps in the hiatus between election years. Can we facilitate a more normative mutual accessibility within established districts?
Stephanie: Bring together Permaculture Design and social justice sectors to establish 2200 sustainable community
Steve Buckley: Citizens Forum that convenes/hosts whatever people want to talk about.  There are issues of scale, what is appropriate to the scales of opportunity and risk. Need network smaller than a State.
Gerald Dillenbeck: ReGenesis Project is to build a cooperative economic network that would develop vocations and residences that are permaculturally balanced and ecologically informed. Incorporate religious sector and investors with those most marginalized by the existing competitive economic strategies.
New Hampshire Listens - These should probably be added to the "+what's in motion" list, yes? @Gerald Dillenbeck - do you have this info?
Come up with basic model that can be tweaked and would apply to a variety of issues and problems and situations.
