  • Please regularly check the following to ensure that all details are correct. Should you require any updates to your cinema pages, or have website-related queries, please email the Website team at: website@picturehouses.co.uk
  1. Google Maps - ensure that your cinema details are correct, inc. address, opening times etc.
  1. Local Partners - ensure that your Local Partners blog is up to date and reflective of all current deals you have in place.
  1. Access - ensure that your access pages are reflective or all current facilities and requirements
  1. Café/Restaurant/Bars - ensure that opening times are up to date and that menu’s are reflecting current offerings.

SOCIAL MEDIA - BEST PRACTICE  💻  

INSTAGRAM STORY HIGHLIGHTS: 
  • If you have Highlights saved on your Instagram channel, these should be evergreen. Please unpin any old film-specific highlights and keep updated so that they remain relevant to people visiting your page. 
  • Some suggested Highlight groupings could include MEMBERSHIP (where you pin any of your Membership assets), FOOD & DRINK (always-on menu items that are well photographed and nicely captioned stories about your food and drink offerings), LOOK INSIDE (Beautiful interior and exterior shots and stories), CHALKBOARDS (to profile your wonderful chalkboard art!), COMMUNITY (To profile regular events/audience development activity) DOG-FRIENDLY SCREENINGS (for cute puppy pics),  ❤️ for re-sharing positive tagged stories from cutstomers as well as any highlights profiling a Festival that you host (E.g. Sundance London, Cambridge Film Fest, etc.) 

SOCIAL CHANNEL BIOS: 
  • Please ensure that your short bio’s are consistent across all of your social channels. These should be short, catchy, and evergreen, summing up your cinema and what makes it unique. Please also try and include reference to Picturehouse if it is not explicit in your name, and include a pin with your location.
  • Webite links should always use your vanity URL which can be found here. A reminder that you don’t need to include https:// or www. in a Instagram URL
