Penn Week 15 Final Class
Happy final class! I feel lucky to have worked with such thoughtful students this semester.

For our final critique we’ll review your student homepage and take a look at your work.

Please place your link after your name and observe when you’re the notetaker. The notetaker will consolidate feedback on this document. Once you present, you will select the following person to go.

If you’d like additional feedback on this project or anything else, I’m available on Slack from 2 to 5pm tomorrow.

  • WIP- functions as journal and a story with a narrative that weaves in the class assignments.
  • Simple concept, but also well thought out. The writing is poetic and the way you incorporated the projects was really clever.
  • It’s not chronological--the flow of projects was based on how you feel, which is an interesting idea.
  • The film (2020) and the disposable camera (fan page) projects are both really strong. Using clicking as navigation allows your viewers to explore more slowly Both projects show yourself and what you see.
  • Re-visiting typography to make sure that your selections are well suited to your concept and design.
  • Project management, overall with more time, you could further hone/ refine your projects.
  • There’s a lot of really great work in your portfolio to be proud of.

Sarah (N: Selina)

  • Enjoy the playfulness to the work, pops of color
  • The elements of your work tell compelling stories while being very simple
  • Bold typography that feels pronounced
