​​Rightsdesk sends out notifications in two directions:

  • ​​from you, the vendor to an editor, if you tick the checkbox “notify editor” and if:
  • ​​the status of a lead changes, e.g. from “request” to “submission”
  • ​​from an editor to you, the vendor, if:
  • ​​the status of a lead changes forward, so that you learn of an editor’s requests and rejections and offers:
  • ​​void→request
  • ​​submission→offer
  • ​​submission→rejected
  • ​​if the editor downloads a document
