This is a list of ideas, problem areas, things to build, tools we need etc.
We’ll then run a NFT focused virtual hackathon focused around them!
This is just a brainstorming doc, but if you want to get involved, DM @ pet3rpan#4352
If you had more time, what would you spend your time building, solving for and experimenting with? What do you want to see others build / experiment with in the NFT ecosystem?
Please dump / write notes below ~
Overarching theme:
Composability.
This is about sharing ideas and collaborating, interesting people, interesting projects.
other members to join projects, feedback, potential funding / partnership opportunities
NFT = access to a parcel
Gated access via Erc-20s / Erc-721
NFTs + Music
A simple public NFT factory interface, it should support adding license/copyright and ISRC attributes. Most NFT minting platforms prioritize images/gifs or video. Mintbase has an audio minter but it requires you to deploy a factory contract to begin with; it’s awful when gas goes up.
A lightweight/IPFS audio NFT web player. OpenSea is ok to listen audio NFTs but something prettier could be designed, something that allows you to see and hear the token at the same time and looks like an actual music app, not a marketplace.
An IPFS“streaming” utility could be absolutely epic - web3 transmission :) Imagine tokenized music and MP4 webisodes. What if you could somehow steer Filecoin to specific IPFS content storage providers and provide some kind of street cred too for doing so.
Composability! Am actively working on Rapagram, a machine-learning powered beat maker“collectible hip hop” minter. The composability comes into play as you can check the make“remixable” checkbox allowing others to flow over a beat too. Another idea in that vein we call“chainflow” which allows users to collaboratively create rapagrams by stitching mints together in a sort of sequence.
interactive NFTs which support creative coding js libraries like p5js or Pts:
WHY: there are a lot of creative coders who builds potentially interactive artworks but are limited because they have to convert the code to some non-interactive format like gifs.
One of my concepts for example: Tatts.eth“Interest-ing tattoo designs”
Digiphysical Wearables standard
NFTs stored in contracts that are permanently locked to KONG cash microchips embedded in MetaFactory apparel. Scan authenticate by scanning the apparel to set yourself as the owner of that piece. Cryptovoxels or other virtual worlds allow users to wear the items in game if they are set as owner on the contracts, even though the NFT isn't stored in their wallet
IRL NFT Dispensers
Imagine guerilla onboarding and marketing via NFT-dispensing QR-code stickers.
What would be crazy epic is to then build a network of decentralized sticker-printing fulfillment nodes(what I like to think of as“dCommerce” as I’m bullish on digi-physical opening up all sorts of tokenized things or“cloud goods” — aka“the internet of shit” haha)
If anyone’s game to build on CryptoStickers.eth as a public good LMK
