About: 

Maryke works at Bishop Master Finishes (ttps://bishopmasterfinishes.com.au/about-us/) and they are looking to develop an internal app for their employees to use in order to track the construction jobs they are working on. This needs to be a progressive web app, that both the office staff can use on their desktops as well as the workers who are on site. The requirements for the web app are:
  • Accounts and User Onboarding - 1 month
  •  Enter jobs with our own job number, job name, address, site contact info - 2 weeks form dependent on design
  • Enter job information unique to each job. Will look like this:
  • CUB12 - Bathrooms - 28m2
  • PP427 - Lounge area walls - 50m2
  • CON5 - Entryway - 75m2
  • Add a PDF image of 3D render - Need more definition about the 3D Render, is this simply attaching a pdf image? If yes, that’s around 1 week
  • Schedule via a calendar that tells the guys where to go the following day - 1 month
  • Cost track (timesheets and expenses) - 1-2 months 
  • Add other costs for purchases against the project - depending how many ‘costs’ are considered
  • Timesheet their hours against the project (different rates for different employees) 
  • Allow the employees to add photos of the job once done - 1 week


Conclusion: Other features not mentioned above are not yet considered. For accurate ETA, they will need to undergo our design stage.
