​​Installing Land Kit BETA

​​
​​We are so excited you want to try the Land Kit BETA.
​​
​​A few things to be aware of:
  • ​​We are still in BETA, so we would love your feedback. Let us know if you run into any issues.
  • ​​Land Kit is currently only supported on Windows. 
  • ​​Units for templates and default values are in feet for now.
​​

​​System Specs

  • ​​PC only (Land Kit does not work on a Mac. We hope to fix this someday soon)
  • ​​Works in Rhino 6 or Rhino 7 Get a 90-day evaluation of Rhino here. Grasshopper comes with Rhino.
  • ​​We recommend a comfortable minimum of 8 core processors (Land Kit takes advantage of parallel processing.)
  • ​​A decent graphics card for rendering etc is highly recommended.

​​Installing the File

  1. ​​Plug-In file (.ghpy file) will go into this folder on your computer:
  • ​​C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries
  • ​​Be sure to close Rhino before installing this way.
​​
  1. ​​You can also drag the file on to Grasshopper. Dragging will actually move the file. So you may want to copy prior to dragging if you are keeping a copy.

​​Latest Version

​​
​​Download the latest version and copy it to your Grasshopper Libraries folder or drag it right onto Grasshopper.
​​
​​When updating be sure to delete older versions from the Grasshopper Libraries folder.
​​
​​When you open Grasshopper the first time after you install you will be prompted for your license key if you hadn’t previously entered it on that machine.
