This simple 3-step guide will help you create a stand-out product insert that complies with Amazon’s terms of service. Response rates on inserts are generally less than 5% but they are a best practice to encourage brand loyalty add incremental growth depending on your brand goals.

DESIGN
If you need help with design, we do offer design services. We charge $699 for non-clients and $299 to our launch clients. You are responsible for printing and shipping to manufacturer to Diane on our team, if using our services for Prep & Ship.

GOALS - Pick 1 goal for each side of your insert
  • Ask for Reviews (we recommend this for launch until 15 reviews are achieved)
  • Provide Curriculum or Resources 
  • Educate on Value or Usage or Brand Story
  • Offer Warranty - great for email collection
  • Social Promotion 
  • Cross Sell - great if you have more products 
  • Surprise & Delight - provide surprise samples of any minis
  • Customer Service

STEP 2 | BEST PRACTICES

NEVER

  1. No bribing for reviews
  1. No driving people away from Amazon
  1. Do not use Generic copy like the example below. 
  1. Never mention discounts and reviews on the same insert
  1. Have more than 2 call-to-actions


ALWAYS

  • Tell your brand story when possible and be authentically you
  • Communicate directly with your niche audience
  • Focus on main brand goals (see above) to intended drive actions
  • Include graphics that are personal and grab attention
