First, have an overview of types of questions set for curiousity. Then skim through the whole passage in 2-3 minitues to get a general overview.

Mark 4-5 keywords from questions of a type and scan for the appropriate paragraph, then skim for finding related lines and read in details to answer the questions. Try to skim in speed 100 words/30 second.
Mark key words and scan for them or similar meaning paraphrased words. Do not guess answers. What the passage saying is answer.
Read, highlight keywords of questions 40-50 seconds. 5-6 min for reading whole passage. Then spend approximately 1 min for each question.
আমার স্কিম রিডিং এ হচ্ছে না। আমি organization আর layout না ধরে ভিতরে চলে যাচ্ছি বারবার। যে কারণে হাতড়ানো লাগতিছে। আর এই লাইন কোন প্যারাগ্রাফে আছে সেইটার জন্য paraphrasing এ জোড় দিতে হবে। আমি ওইটা মিস করতেছি সবসময়। Scan করার জন্য সবচেয়ে ভাল হল উলটা ভাবে পড়া। স্কিমিং করতে প্রতি প্যারাগ্রাফের প্রথম দুই লাইন ভাল করে পরে পরের গুলা কোন রকম চোখ বুলাইতে হবে কিছু কি শব্দ দাগানোর জন্য(৩ - ৫ মিনিট)। তারপর ১৩ টা প্রশ্ন পরে তার সব কি শব্দগুলা দাগাইতে হবে আর যেগুলা সহজ সেইগুলা আগে করে ফেলতে হবে।
প্রতি প্যারাগ্রাফের প্রথম দুই লাইন ভাল করে পড়তে হবে। আর পরের টুক শুধু কি নিয়ে কথা বলতেছে সেইটা মনে রাখার জন্য কিছু কি শব্দ মার্ক করতে হবে। কোন ভাবেই কি বলতেছে সেইটা থেমে পড়া যাবে না। শুধু চোখ বুলাইতে হবে। এর সুবিধা হইল guess করা লাগবে না। প্যাসেজ থেকেই উত্তর দিতে হবে। সব পরে বুঝার সময় নাই(১১/১০/২০১৮-reference magoosh ebook for ielts)।
In my first IELTS exam attempt(20-10-2018), I actually performed well in reading section by first looking to questions and then searching relevant lines by scanning keywords and I think it worked really well.
First section is good. But two fact finding is giving me trouble. I have to mark all the keywords of all options and reason carefully to get right options. Its a tricky part. For section 3 and 4, I have to match the listening with reading using signposting, synonyms and paraphrasing. What is missing? I have to ask this question always.

Don’t waste the given question looking time relaxing. Yes, that might not be important but for hard situations this is a waste of chance. So, try to mark 1-2 keyword before after question or blank and for fill in the gaps try to store in cache what is missing in the gap.
