House Errata

Foreword

For the most part, we’ve addressed armor here. There are a few sticking points beyond armor; Familiars, Mutliclassing Warlocks, Unarmed Strikes, Warlock’s and Hex/Bestow curse, Wizard’s Spellbooks, and Dying. The rest is vanilla.

Character Classes

Barbarian Class Details

[New] Unarmored Defense. Replace the paragraph under “Unarmored Defense” with: Beginning at 1st level, while you are wearing no armor, your AC equals 10 + your Constitution modifier + your Proficiency Bonus.

Cleric Class Details

[New] Blessed Strikes. Add the following sentence to the end of the Blessed Strikes variant class feature. “When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.”

Druid Class Details

[New] Proficiencies.  Replace the second sentence in armor proficiencies: Druids cannot Wild Shape while they wear armor or shields made of metal.

[New] Proficiencies.  Append the following text to the end of the sentence in weapon proficiencies: grenade weapons, and unarmed attacks.

Monk Class Details

[New] Unarmored Defense. Replace the paragraph under “Unarmored Defense” with: Beginning at 1st level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Proficiency Bonus.

Rogue Class Details

[New] Thief Subclass; Use Magic Device.  A thief archetype Rogue with Use Magic Device is proficient with guns.

Sorcerer Class Details

[New] Proficiencies.  Append the following text to the end of the sentence in weapon proficiencies: grenade weapons, and unarmed attacks.
[New] Draconic Bloodline. Replace the last sentence under “Draconic Resilience” with: When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Proficiency Bonus.

Warlock Class Details

[New] Maddening Hex. All instances of “hex spell” are now “bestow curse spell”. 
In the first paragraph, “or Sign of Ill Omen” has been dropped.

[New] Sign of Ill Omen. This section has been dropped.

Wizard Class Details

[New] Proficiencies.  Append the following text to the end of the sentence in weapon proficiencies: grenade weapons, and unarmed attacks.

[New] Learning Spells of 1st Level and Higher. Under “Learning Spells of 1st Level and Higher”, in the first sentence, “two wizard spells” is now “three wizard spells.”

[New] Your Spellbook. In the first paragraph, the final sentence now ends as follows: “… (but it should be noted that spells found this way are exceedingly rare).”

Customization Options

[New] Spellcasting. Under “Pact Magic”, the following sentence has been added: “This does not apply to class features which allow you to expend spell slots for alternate purposes (such as the Paladin’s Smite).”

Spells

[New] Beast Sense. Replace the first sentence under “Beast Sense” with: You touch a willing beast or familiar. 

[New] Cloud of Daggers. Cloud of daggers area of effect is a 10ft cube. 

[New] Find Familiar. Remove the fourth paragraph under “Find Familiar”. (Specifically you cannot communicate telepathically with your familiar and cannot share senses).

[New] Mage Armor. Replace the 2nd sentence Under “Mage Armor” with: The target’s base AC becomes 10 + Your Spellcasting Bonus.
