Financial Assistant
Tru (grades K-5) seeks part-time (8-12 hours per month) administrative help with maintaining financial and other records. Candidates should have experience with small business accounting.

The Financial Assistant is responsible for invoicing families, collecting payments, monitoring tuition revenue, making bank deposits, reconciling account statements, tracking employee hours, running payroll, preparing checks, collecting receipts, and issuing financial reports. The Financial Assistant is supervised by the Head of School. Opportunities for growth of involvement are many.

Tru is a private, progressive elementary school near downtown Palo Alto serving students K - 6, with unique practices to support the love of learning, so that children know themselves and embrace their world. Students practice mindfulness, engage in stage performance, and learn through in-depth projects with cross-disciplinary themes. Teachers form personal relationships with each child based on developmental research and make strong connections with families.
