Notes

Cecily

  • likes the slider and descriptions to show opinion and thoughts
  • Also enjoys the archive to learn more about each outfit
  • All enjoy the interactivity and the personalization of the small anecdotes
  • Tension between casual / lofi and the typographic language
  • It is a nice balance to have the data set and the interactive part that is more personal
  • Hovering could provide a little more personal commentary
  • Nice that it is slow, quite and contained
  • Really like the attention to detail with the scroll bars that were added
  • The scroll bar is a nice touch of detail for the UI system of the website

Jason

  • likes the simplicity of the shapes and of the interactions - not overwhelming
  • maybe make it more clear that the shapes correspond to the hours spent studying - there was some confusion about this
  • nice job creating your own language to represent data
  • could integrate heading font into the rest of the project more
  • including the hex code of the color is a nice detail
  • If you continue working on it, can think more about interactions in the legend
  • Integrate navigation buttons into a more prominent location

Rachel

url: rachelshapiro.github.io/projects/personal-data2/index.html

  • wants the data blocks to randomly scatter throughout the screen, and on date hover, only data related to that date shows up
