Exploring Intellectual Infrastructures
Intellectual Infrastructures is research branch under the concept of Meta-thinking, or thinking about thinking, as part of understanding the many inputs that affect how we think. 

The writings aim to explore the practice of architecting intellectual infrastructures, which we define as the structure of knowledge that humans and organizations create and maintain. These structures could be mental, physical, or digital. In order to explore, we’ll assume the identity of a phenomenologist as much as we can.

Cleaned up the Overview at the beginning of this doc to try and clarify the relationship between meta-thinking and int. infra. 
Bought Candide No. 6: Journal for Architectural Knowledge book on 01-08.2020 for reference and inspiration.

Still letting this concept marinate. 
Visited the Potrero Hill, SF library for the first time. Typed and thought in front of a wonderful large window with an evergreen waving hello outside. 

Very excited about the potential depth of this topic in both theory and praxis. Wondering how we might put a call out to find those that are currently thinking about it.

  • It begins in Section A with the idea of the cultural environment as infrastructure. Section B describes the economic characteristics of intellectual resources. Section C focuses on applying the infrastructure criteria to delineate intellectual infrastructure. Section D considers intellectual property laws. (Abstract)
