When a poor person meets with an accident and loses his limbs, the darkness of poverty engulfs him and he feels unsafe and at times develops suicidal tendencies. Islam has encouraged assisting such disabled and deserving people. Hence Safa Baitul Maal has taken up the task of providing constant assistance to these disabled and deserving people by identifying homes where such people well, such as a home with four visually challenged brothers, a home with three visually challenged brothers and sister, a home with three mentally challenged sisters, etc. By the grace of Almighty Allah,suitable monthly assistance is being provided to these disabled persons. Someone gets a monthly assistance of Rs.2000/- while some other gets an assistance of Rs.1500/- etc. of Safa Baitul Maal, the record of which is maintained in the central office of Safa Baitul Maal.
