Data Analytics Workshop for Teens
Federal City Public Service Foundation and DC Data+Women

In this 2 hour introductory workshop you will learn about data analytics through a combination of presentations, hands on training, and group exercises. Laptops will be provided and at the end of the session you will have built an interactive visualization using real data about DC.

What is data analytics, why is it important, and how can it be used in the world around us?
What jobs are available in the field of data and what tools are used in data fields?
Hands on: Let’s analyze a data set together, using Tableau.
