Our zone is a playground for interactive exploration that combines three modes:

During selected timeslots we’ll be organizing creative coding workshops that introduce people to live coding, algorithmic art & music, and interactive development. From the experience of having given many such workshops in the past, we already know that it’s creatively empowering for the participants, great fun, and people can take away a lot of new knowledge and inspiration. We plan for these workshops to have a length of 2-6 hours and to be for 2-5 people.

We’ll introduce participants to Tooll3, an open-source software that playfully introduce users into the world of motion graphics, interactive development, and programming. It’s excellent for live coding and VJ-performances.

We’re also planning workshops on coding music using Strudel/Tidal Cycles and Sonic Pi.
