PolicyKit: Wolfrep posts an initial descriptioncreates a documentof the official issue lodged after they disseminate the issue to the proper channels. Date/time thresholds(time limits for discussions and consensus) and triggers(notifications to the concerned parties or impacted parties to come together for the discussion and eventually the formal proposal stage)that allow for global async quorums, delegation & meetings. Lack of dissent in emoji reactions confirms proper delegation occurred before a proposal/document is ratified.
Proper channel: proper clan, people impacted by issue, and relevant channels.
Date/time triggers: based on priority/needs of issue, wolf rep reaches out to people to gauge what’s the best time to meet to discuss the issue(a suggestion is something like lettucemeet), the opening and closing of a quorum window(minimum 48 hours) should automated, what this means is that the issue is posted in the active issues channel and there is a period of quorum during which people discuss the issue, agree on times to meet, disseminate the issue between each other-that means that the responsibility is on everyone involved, particularly the other Clan representatives; to let who may be concerned know about the issue if it impacts them
Post Dissemination Proposal/Document Ratification: Lack of dissent in emoji reactions confirms issue document notes are accurate before an issue specific doc is ratified. checks for involvement(mentions from wolf rep of the people involved) only people involved dissent would count.
IF issue is moved into preliminary clan meetings and formal processes, the issue will be incorporated onto that document ratification process instead, otherwise it would have been resolved during discussion before moving to the formal process; this will be suitable process for smaller issues. Smaller issue resolutions linked to discussion for legitimacy rather than entire formal process.
Wolf rep:
picks up the issue
pass dissemination responsibilities to other clan reps when needed.
the wolf subhead can have the responsibilities of the wolf rep in a case of emergency for example through a certain protocol, this protocol might not be implemented in this stage
the issue has to get to the wolf rep in any manner(might be defined later)
a preliminary phase of gathering the minds around the issue once it reaches the wolf rep
there should be preliminary before an announcement, to check
why and how is this valid
what is going to be the proposal to solve this issue
the person who lodged the issue will be part of the process
The well:
can be any channel where people ask for help
can be a channel where people formally ask to lodge an issue
can never be organized because of the magnitude of the server or the discussion spaces, it’s a process for community members(even if it’s one person) to recognize that something is an issue that should be lodged
Issues that might arise:
dissent from someone that didn’t actually participate in the issue’s thread, but participated through another medium
involving other streams of participation like voice calls and face to face in the quorum, or the group of dissenters, even people who just nodded in the thread, maybe have a social rule about this, the social rule would be that if you wanna be involved just join the thread or at least have someone involve you by mentioning you in the thread, this might need regulation, the general principle is to represent a head nod at least from an actual community member, part of a trustful community not a trustless one.
