Build a role of a software engineer in Quality and build/design an agile team.
Lead and define quality and test related activities for product
Create tools to improve the mobile release management process, Android and iOS
Create and maintain CI/CD environment for mobile include building test automation infrastructure on AWS environment. For example, I built this environment with other colleagues.
Design test automation strategy like this article. I’ve led automation strategy for mobile since 2014. I’ve joined to discuss and decide test strategy for Web/Infrastructure as well.
Implement test code and coach developers about test and architectural things
Pair programming, share test/qa knowledge with other developers
Conduct test cases by manual
Manage reported bugs / report incidents
Building release process/development process and automation them
Work closely each other, not only developers but also non-engineers, to build great product together
Have experience to work in diverse environment
At Cookpad international team, I worked with diverse engineers who comes from various countries. I was a minority then. The team has over 50 engineers, but only a few engineers were Japanese.
