As we approach the end of this quarter, schedules can get a little crazy and tasks can often be neglected until the last minute, if not completely forgotten. Use this checklist as a way to mitigate this issue and keep yourself from forgetting something.
Spiral bound book
Due on the last day of class(November 14), all writings must be assembled into a spiral bound book like this one or this one. These can be as simple or as complex as you like. It must include your name, Design Criticism, Art 255, the year, and the link to your blog/site. All of the writings from Design Criticism should be included in the book. Elements like table of contents, page numbers, colophon, etc. are up to you. Since you have finished all of your writing assignments, it would be advantageous to get this laid out and printed immediately.
Site/blog
All writing assignments must be posted on some sort of online platform. See page 3 of syllabus. This will be graded with book.
Video essay
On November 12 and 14, we will watch and critique the video essays. Make sure your essay has all of the required elements. The order of the showing is below. Be ready to show your video on Monday despite where you are in the list. Save file out as a MOV file with the title of your video as the file name(title of video essay.mov). The file can be uploaded here.
*Part of your grade on this project will be determined by your partners. They will evaluate you on your commitment, participation, attendance, responsibility, and professionalism.
