  • Is not there a built-in way to set multiple layout areas for a page?
  • Content / Sidebar? Do you create two content matrices and pack them next to each other in the template?
  • What if different subpages have different headers or footers? Is this then set in a "Select" field in the Entry Type? "This page uses the header type 'header-without-logo'"? (That would be something I would suspect at the section level)
  • Is there no way to duplicate fields or create templates for them? Since you can only use each field once, is that somehow ... stupid?
  • In the assets area, I can not create different folders? (Well, you can create different ... "mounts", and that works pretty much, but a "new folder" button would be ... easier?)
  • Again, regarding the multi-split: I see no way to give an editor the opportunity to simply create multi-column content areas? (Example: Three teasers next to each other) - So yes, I could create a matrix called Grid, whose blocks I would pack next to each other - but because you can not nest matrices, can each page contain only one or a set number of them? (The latter only if I create several of these matrices fields under different names (??)) (Or you solve it as sometimes with Contao: There is a block type "column start" and "column end", and everything in between is packed in Divs - but that's not nice either)
  • I have a page "products" with the product overview and create a child page for a product, the slug is then "product-1" instead of "products / product-1"? I also can not enter slashes in the slug editor ...
(I do not want to rule out that I just have not found the functions, at least not in catchy places.)
I really really want to find Craft really good because I'm desperately looking for a great new CMS, but I still lack some ideas on how to use it sensibly. It may be that I'm still too caught up in the Contao Page Tree article content world in my mindset and it's hard to break out of it ... so again, I ask for support from you craft professionals. (Of course I googled, but I have not found any of the topics yet)
