All three clans(⚤) use the #active-issues channel thread the to reflect positions on the issue, each using autonomous processes for dialogue in their role gated #clan-channels.
2 | Autonomous Clan Prelims
All six clan representatives facilitate consensus in autonomous clan processes in respective gated clan channels, any changes are reflected in #active-issues, before moving it to formal consensus.
The #active-issuesthread is to be updated by a Wolf Rep to reflect any changes in the consensus position across all six clans. Inside this thread, the six reps are to ensure one of Wolf reps receives all final positions from their respective #clan-channels .
PolicyKit will take the most recent edit in #active-issues into #formal-proposals when the‘quorum period finished’[!finish] command is used in #active-issues by the Female Turtle clan Rep confirms all six clans have come to a final preliminary position on the issue.
This is the first time the female and male clans are sitting together in decision making.
Deliberation on the issue position is still possible in this formal phase in the rare case it is needed after prelims.
Male Wolf Clan introduces each issue to the thread after policykit posts the issue.
If any needed deliberation, it happens between Bear & Wolf clans ONLY in the thread. Most times the prelim decision is passed along for confirmation.
Turtles observe the deliberation & validate against core collective values, before officially ratifying; or sending back for more deliberation.
Final Step:
The Female Turtle Rep Initiates the final observations of the deliberations between both Male & Female Turtle clans.
Female Turtle Rep should notify the Wolf & Bear reps‘Turtle Time has Started’ in the thread to prevent interjection in observations between the Male & Female Turtles.
Female Turtle Rep uses the official[!finish] command in #formal-proposals channel in the corresponding thread of the issue.
