work-x
: work place, work process, work flow, work style …
workplace = オフィスの構成要素のうち「場所」としての側面を取り出した概念

  • Re-Place-ing Space (第7回より再掲)
  • Space is the oppotunity; place is the understood reality.
  • While space have up and down, left and right, places have yesterday and tomorrow, good and bad.
  • Places, not spaces, frame appropriate behavior.
  • Places have social meaning.
  • The distinction is rather like that between a "house" and a "home"; a house might keep out the wind and the rain, but a home is where we live.
